Some stories begin long before the day itself.
This one, for me, began at the wedding of Milly, one of Natasha’s dearest friends. I remember that day clearly, so it was a particular joy when Natasha reached out, over a year ago, to ask me to film her own wedding. To see familiar, friendly faces again, gathered for Natasha and Alex, felt like a welcome return.

It was my first time filming in Kew Gardens, and it was the perfect setting for a couple like them. Natasha and Alex have a quiet sweetness, a comfort in simply being together without the need for performance. This honesty is what I always hope to capture in my work, so our day together felt natural from the very start.

To be married in Kew is to be married within a piece of living history. The Gardens are more than just a beautiful park, they are a world collection of plants, a centre for science, and a UNESCO World Heritage site that has grown for centuries. Walking through the grounds, past the grand Victorian glasshouses and beneath trees that hold their own stories, you feel a sense of permanence and peace. It was a truly beautiful backdrop for their day.
From the beginning, I saw Natasha and Alex’s film as something more than a simple record. I wanted to create a film that felt more abstract, more artistic. The day unfolded with a gentle ease, helped in no small part by the photographer, who was a true pleasure to work alongside, giving space for us both to capture the day honestly.

If you are planning your own wedding and searching for a film that captures the day with the same quiet honesty and artistic feel, I would be delighted to hear from you. My purpose is to tell your story, creating a film that feels as timeless as the day itself.
